Perception

In computer graphics we produce images, videos and other content that is perceived by humans. Unfortunately, human perception is still not well understood, making it hard to design algorithms that perfectly fit a user’s needs. Understanding how people see, do and perceive things is therefore a key component when optimizing and creating new rendering algorithms.
