Abstract

In this project, the framework used for the Fundamentals of Computer Graphics course was extended to use the modern Slang shader language instead of GLSL. To achieve this, the Slang compiler was integrated into VulkanLaunchpad, enabling shaders to be compiled from source at runtime. The shaders used by the reference solutions were also rewritten in Slang to ensure compatibility with the updated framework. Additionally, GLFW was replaced with SDL3 to provide a more modern and industry-adopted cross-platform abstraction for window management and input handling.
