Abstract

Visualization and quantitative analysis of vessel data is an important preprocessing step in diagnosis of vascular diseases, monitoring, surgery planning, blood flow simulation, education and training surgeons. This paper surveys several geometric methods to solve basic visualization and quantification problems like centerline computation, boundary detection, projections techniques, and geometric model generation.
