Chair scene
Walking away from several chairs, each represented by 4 LODs. The first transition is quite soon and can be seen on the silhouette of the chair, the second transition is later and replaces the back by very simple geometry, whereas the last LOD is just a cuboid with one edge elevated, using no textures.

Chair scene, later transition
A similar scene as above, but the transitions take place farther from the eye. Note however that popping still appears in the non-blended version.

Morphing sequence
This sequence shows the flexibility of the new blending technique by creating a smooth transition between different objects (the blue diamonds, green cylinders and red elipsoids on the right).

Animated sequence
An animated human model consisting of 3 different LODs. Neither the moving human nor movement of the viewpoint causes any popping artefacts in the smooth version.
The two lower detail LODs of the model can be inspected in this video: DIVX, MPEG

Huge, pillared hall scene
Observe the smooth blends in this huge scene, which can be rendered interactively thanks to LODs.

Game demo
This video shows a complete level from the game "FBI Academy", where LODs and the new LOD blending technique have been used extensively:
- all the buildings in this level, for example, consist of several different LODs
- all of the landscape (terrain, hills) use LODs as well
- transitions take place at 5 meters and 15 meters, with a blending range of 2 meters.
- The tesselations for the individual terrain blocks vary from 32 to 128 and 512 triangles per block (see image below).
