Ume-Lebern is a direct volume rendering tool developed in Managed DirectX. It was created by Matthias Maschek and Johannes Scharl in october/november 2006 for the VisLab course an the Vienna University of Technology.

Ume-Lebern renders raw data sets aquired from medical CT Scans.

    - advanced gradient dependent opacity computation

- interactive transfer function for color and opacity selection

- highly interactive by exploiting latest graphics hardware (Shader Model 3.0)
