We are developing a web-based real-time visualization framework build on top of WebGL 2.0 with deferred rendering pipeline with support for mesh geometry data as well as volumetric data. The framework allows merging the rendering outputs of different modalities in a seamless final image. Users can add their own annotations to the 3D representations and share it with other users. Collaborative aspect cover sharing the scene, the rendering parameters, camera view, and annotations. Users can also chat inside the framework. Recently we have paired the framework with a real-time volumetric path-tracing solution allowing users to merge mesh geometry and volumetric rendering of data in the same visualization.
