Eurographics 2006 provides a free, comprehensive dancing course for all participants. This is an excellent opportunity to learn some dancing basics, and to prepare for the social event!

For this you should wear appropriate shoes, which in practice means shoes with a leather sole. It is not really feasible to do ballroom dancing with rubber soles, and sneakers in particular have proven to be completely unsuitable. The likely case that the number of men and ladies does not match will not be a big problem - however, if you are a woman please make sure you plan to take part!
