Key Bindings

The following keys allow you to interact with iRay both in full-screen and windowed mode:

s switch to slice mode
v switch to volume mode
x set slicing direction to x (slice mode only)
y set slicing direction to y (slice mode only)
z set slicing direction to z (slice mode only)
[cursor up]   show next slice (slice mode only)
[cursor down] show previous slice (slice mode only)


In windowed mode, the following additional keyboard shortcuts can be used:

[command o] open volume file
[command d] toggle controls drawer
[command f] enter full-screen mode
[command t] toggle transfer function editor
[command i] toggle volume information
[command ?] display iRay online help
[command q] quit the application


Finally, these commands are only valid in full-screen mode:

[esc] exit full-screen mode


For completeness, these modifiers change the behaviour of mouse events (see Volume Mode for details):

[ctrl] move clipping plane (volume mode only)
[alt] rotate clipping plane (volume mode only)
