Introduction

This project is about an implementation of a keyword-in-context-visualization method proposed by Wattenberg et Viegas (The Word Tree - an Interactive Visual Concordance). The following features are provided:

• Searching for keywords in text files
• Tree-visualization of the search results along with their context
• Navigation and browsing within the tree
• Parameters of the illustration fully customizable
• Improved depiction of very large trees

Requirements

This program runs on Microsoft Windows and requires a recent version of the dotNet-Framework to be installed. For navigation we recommend the use of a 2+ button mouse featuring a scrolling wheel.
