Hot News
According to the regulation at TU Wien, the lecture will not happen physically in the seminar room on Thursday this semester.
This year, we will restructure the lecture based on the experience learned from the previous semester. All details will be explained in the first lecture. In short, we will revive the weekly exam but add a small term project (30 second animation) to balance the grading. The total amount of work remains more or less the same in comparison to the previous semester.
[IMPORTANT] You are required to turn on your camera for the weekly exam, and we will give the first try during the first lecture.
If you have any further questions, please contact me (Hsiang-Yun Wu). We will have a discussion on the lecture during the first lecture day. Please enroll in the TISS and follow TUWEL to keep everything up to date.
Organization
Computeranimation VU consists of a lecture and an exercise part. The lectures are spread over the semester and take place in the Seminarraum 186, on the
5th floor in Favoritenstrasse 9-11. The lectures are frontal presentations describing computer animation concepts, closely following the computer animation textbook
Computer Animation (Third Edition) by Rick Parent. The course will be held in English. There will be no standard exam at the end of the samester, this year we will schedule a small recapitulation written exam at the beginning of each lecture testing the knowledge gained from the previous lecture. The exercise part consists of an implementation of four computer animation techniques. On this page you can find all important information and dates concerning the course. Registration to the course should be done via the TISS interface.
The lectures will be recorded and uploaded to the TUWEL.
