The O2 workstation employs a new hardware architecture based on unified memory and can achieve a price-performance ratio that is currently unmatched in the field of mid-range graphical workstations. The O2 workstation is therefore ideal for the VR-SCOS. A PC based solution in the same price category cannot guarantee the required graphical data throughput and may defeat the application purposes.
