VRVis Visual Computing Award 2023
Um Visual Computing als Querschnittstechnologie - mit vielfältigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten für eine nachhaltige Zukunft - stärker ins öffentliche Bewusstsein zu rücken, hat das Forschungszentrum VRVis den ersten europaweiten VRVis Visual Computing Award ausgelobt. Der Award richtet sich an engagierte PhD-/Post-Doc-Kandidat:innen bis hin zu bereits etablierten Forschenden, die anwendungsorientierte Visual-Computing-Forschung betreiben, die eine konkrete Relevanz in Bezug auf die nachhaltigen Entwicklungsziele der UN (SDGs) hat.
Bewerbungen können sowohl selbst als auch durch Vorschlag von anderen erfolgen. Die Verleihung des VRVis Visual Computing Awards findet im Rahmen des Symposiums "Visual Computing Trends" am 26. VRVis Visual Computing Award 2023
To raise the public perception of Visual Computing as a cross-sectional technology - with a wide range of possible applications for a sustainable future - the Austrian VRVis research center has announced the first Europe-wide VRVis Visual Computing Award. The award invites applications from dedicated Ph.D./post-doctoral candidates to established researchers conducting application-oriented visual computing research relevant to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Submissions can be made both by the applicant and by suggestions from others. The VRVis Visual Computing Award will be presented at the "Visual Computing Trends" symposium on January 26, 2023, in Vienna and includes a €5,000 cash prize.
