This thesis proposes a domain-specific language (DSL) for describing 3D visualizations. The DSL is capable of specifying these 3D visualizations in a declarative fashion inside a human-readable file. Additionally, our language allows users to configure all aspects of the visualization pipeline, ranging from data transformation up to rendering. Configuring the visualization pipeline is facilitated through a versatile extension mechanism.
