Large graphs are difficult to explore because users must trade overview for detail. Fisheye lenses address this by locally magnifying regions of interest. However, standard geometric fisheye techniques distort graph structure.

Based on the paper by Wang et al., we implemented a structure-aware fisheye lens that preserves edge orientations and node relationships while magnifying a focused region.

Our interactive demo visualizes a sampled Facebook social network using a D3 force layout rendered on a canvas. Users can switch between a purely geometric fisheye and the structure-aware variant.
