Organization

Realtime visualization VU consists of a lecture and an exercise part. The lectures are spread over the semester and take place in the “Seminarraum” of the Institute for Computergraphics and Algorithms (SE186), on the 5th floor in Favoritenstrasse 9-11. The lectures are frontal lectures describing rela-time visualization concepts, combined with explanation of implementation code examples. The course will be held in English. The exercise part consists of an implementation of a two real-time visualization techniques. On this page you can find all important information and dates concerning the course.

The lectures will be recorded and uploaded to an associated TUWEL course. Information on the exercises is available in TUWEL. Registration to the course and to the exam is done through TISS.

Grading

There is a nominal amount of 100 points. During the exam maximum of 50 points can be obtained in case all three questions are perfectly answered. The lab has nominal 50 points plus additional 15 bonus points. The grading scheme is as follows: -49 = 5 … 50-52 = 4 … 63-74 = 3 … 75-87 = 2 … 88- = 1.
