The purpose of this practical study was to implement SEAMs
(Spatially Extended Anchor Mechanism) in the
existing remote
rendering environment. This feature enables a graphical interconnection
and relation between distributed virtual environments. |
Design goals
|
-
Uni directional Seam
-
Roaming (entering) the secondary world at the correct position
-
Movable Seams (in the primary as well as in the secondary world)
-
No Seam recursion
|
Problems
|
-
Server acts as a Client in the secondary world
-
Distinction between objects from the primary world and objects from the
sencondary worlds
-
Enhancement of the network-protocol
