How to incorporate a new Postscript font into teTeX describes the procedure I took to be able to use Adobe Futura family fonts with teTeX 0.34 and 0.4.
How to change the default font in LaTeX 2e describes the way I changed the default font to Adobe Futura for our slides environment.
