The Parsec Project: Live Demonstration

This page contains a series of images in which I have tried to capture flow and spirit of the live Parsec demonstration during the "The Parsec Project" talk I gave at the internal workshop of the Institute of Computer Graphics, Vienna University of Technology, on September 28, 1998. I saved these screenshots right out of the frame buffer of a Voodoo Graphics board with a resolution of 640x480 and 16bpp color depth. Unfortunately, the images here are much smaller, for obvious reasons. Please have a look at some screenshots in full size on the Parsec Homepage). The demo was about eight minutes long and featured two great audio tracks and sound effects by Stefan Poiss.
Anyway, now turn off the lights, lean back a bit, and try to imagine a dark room with most of the light coming from a big projection screen...
