Hobbies
- Movies: I am a great movie fan.
On average I go to movie theatres about one day per week.
- Music: I could not live without
hearing music. My preferred styles
are gothic, rock, pop and grunge. My favorite artists list includes
Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Nirvana, Pixies, R.E.M., U2, The Clash, and
some others.
- Netsurfing: Well...
- Board Games:
I like complex board games like 1830, 1835,
Advanced Civilization, Kremlin, or Junta.
- Fine Art: I like some styles in modern art including Surrealism,
Op-Art, and Pop-Art.
- Cabaret: Even though the 50s and 60s were considered as the
golden age of the Austrian Cabaret, in my opinion we have a
better Cabaret-Scene these days. My favorite Cabaretists are Josef
Hader, Alfred Dorfer, Thomas Maurer and Leo Lukas.
- Cartoons: My favorite austrian cartoonists are Gerhard Haderer,
Erich Eibl, Erich Sokol, Dieter Zehentmayr, Jean Veenenbos, and Oliver Schopf.
The Austrian newspaper
Der_Standard
provides every day a new cartoon online.

Wisdom. It contains many quotes from the movies "Trust" and "Simple Men" by
Hal Hartley.

In summer of 96 the Austrian Parliament voted for the law on computer
aided police investigations, which could lead to a Police State as
described in the book 1984 by George Orwell!
