VRML - An Overview

This document was written by Helmut Doleisch and Edgar Weippl for a talk at the Research Seminar about VR on November 29th, 1996.
This document gives a short overview about VRML 1.0 and VRML 2.0 and tries to compare these both versions. For better understanding, the Introduction into these two versions as well as the comparision between them is illustrated with many examples.
