Brief Biography
My research interests include computer graphics, scientific visualization and computer architecture. I am currently working as a Research Associate in the ADAPT Research Project at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Algorithms, Austria. I formerly worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Viatronix Inc., USA. I studied Computer Science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany, where I graduated in 2000 with a Diploma in Informatics. In my master-thesis research at the Wilhelm Schickard Institut für Informatik Graphisch-Interaktive Systeme, I developed a parallel ray casting algorithm for orthogonal projections on a single-chip SIMD architecture.
