Abstract

A different approach to mapping the global illumination values to display devices is introduced. The final image is displayed with appropriate atmosphere, thereby the luminances in absolute units are not needed, what makes the method suitable for a wide range of rendering software. The method is inspired by the photographersÕ approach. The results strongly depend on user setting, thus making the method completely subjective.
