Block dataset
The following pictures are made from a dataset representing the flow
around a block. Because the dataset is very big, the visualisations show not the
whole vectorfield, but interesting parts of it, like the region around the block
or the "waves" after the block. Sometimes only some slices of the 64
slices in the z-direction are
used. The block geometry can be visualised
optionally, with or without textures.

Smog dataset
This is a dataset which contains the windfield
and ozone concentration over Europe in the month juli 1989 sampled at a 4 hour
interval at four different layers in the atmosphere. The visualisation show just
one tíme step of 176. Because the data consist of only 4 slices in
z-direction, the results appear to be somewhat 2-dimensional.
