Description
In the last decade, statistical data became a crucial component of every sport event. Even if a soccer game is perfectly boring, a smart search algorithm can always find many facts that make watching the game very interesting (http://www.amstat.org/sections/SIS/). This is eminently true in popular north-american sport arts, which produce a large amount of games (thus also a large amount of statistics) every season. Since each of the game is broadcasted and watched by thousands of spectators, it has to be exciting and breathtaking until the last second. Thanks to statistics one can always find interesting events to watch (or to bet on!) even if the game is decided in the first minute of the match. Did you know that there was never an NHL player older than 30, who scored a goal in first five minutes of each period?
